Cannot link to MyFitnessPal

I've posted this same issue on MyFitnessPal. I'm not sure which part of the API integration is causing issues.

I've seen a few past posts about this, but I can't seem to resolve my issue. I'm trying to connect my Fitbit account to MyFitnessPal and am constantly given the error:

"Another MyFitnessPal account has already been linked to this Fitbit account. Only one account may be linked at once."

What's interesting is that when I go into Fitbit, it shows that MyFitnessPal has been added as an application, but nothing syncs. Revoking access still gives the same error. Is there anything that can be done to reset this? I'm not sure if this is a Fitbit or MyFitnessPal issue.

@SunsetRunner Hey there! I appreciate that you've contacted MyFitnessPal. The reason why it showed that MFP can't be connected to another Fitbit account could be that you were trying to connect it with another one different than the one that you were seeing that it was connected. I just saw the link that you provided me and it seems that someone from MFP is going to investigate the issue, let me know how it goes Cat Happy

Hey Silvia,

Thanks for following up. I've definitely made sure that I'm signed into the correct accounts. I have a feeling something isn't getting cleared out in the backend somewhere. I recently deleted my myfitnesspal account and created a new one with the same email. I'm guessing this may be causing some issues.

I'll follow up once I find out what happened.
