Hi,
My brother is having some issues using his new FitBit with MyFitnessPal.
Strangely enough the adjustments for steps he has been getting on his watch seem too high.
I use an apple watch myself with MyFitnessPal and I have MFP set to sedentary and "allow negative adjustments". On a day where I do 7,500 steps I get approximately 115 extra calories of an adjustment. If I do 20,000 steps, I get approx 360 calories. It's been working pretty well for me.
I am nearly at a healthy weight wheras my brother would be considered obese (approximately 275 lbs). It seems all the steps and calories he makes are being given to him in the adjustments where as I seem to receive only a fraction of that (25%-30% of total calories burned I get to eat back). We have the same settings set up in myfitnesspal: He also has it set to "sedentary" and "enable negative adjustments". Any suggestions?

@manwithnoname Welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.
Thanks for the detailed information shared. I'll be happy to help you clarifying this.
MyFitnesspal will sync activity, food and weight MyFitnessPal. Meanwhile, Fitbit will sync steps and weight to MFP.
In order for Fitbit and MFP to show the same amount of calories burned, please make sure you're following this procedure to edit your food plan on both accounts. Regarding the step count, follow these tips to select Fitbit as your step tracker.
In regards to your calorie adjustment, learn more about it by checking this post.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
