It's nice to see new faces around @Jenbertram! What I recommend is to unlink and relink both accounts. This should allow you to sync your data without a problem. Please follow the steps listed below:
1. Sign into your Fitbit dashboard.
2. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
3. On the left side of your screen click "Applications."
4. Under MyFitnessPal, click "Revoke Access."
5. You can then re-link the two accounts by going to MFP.
After relinking, you can verify that your accounts are syncing by using one of the following data points:
1. On Fitbit you can check for your meal summary and logged activities from MFP.
2. On MyFitnessPal, go to "My Home," then "Check-In." You should see your weight, Fitbit Steps, and Fitbit Sleep Minutes.
Let me know if this helped you out.

My new Blaze is wonderful. However it is not syncing with My Fitness Pal food database. Maybe an update is necessary. Does anyone else have this problem?

Syncing with MFP is nothing t do with he Blaze but is handled by the Fitbit website in the background so any problem in this area is pretty much guaranteed to be nothing to do with your specific device.

I tried this process on my iphone 6 and it did not solve the problem. It was working fine until 2 days ago. My calories crossover to the fitbit app but my steps dont sync to Myfitnesspal.

Why isnt my fitbit syncing my exercise with mfp? It was working until today and now it only syncs my steps.

@sudersuder Exercises will only show up in MFP if it was logged through MFP. Here's how the integration works:
MyFitnessPal → Fitbit
|
---|
Activities |
Food |
Fitbit → MyFitnessPal
|
---|
Steps |
Weight |
Hope this helps. 🙂

@Loangal Welcome to the Community! The best troubleshoot to do in this type of cases is to unlink and relink both accounts by doing the procedure posted above. Also, what kind of error are you getting? Can you provide me with a screenshot?
Hope this helps.

I tried this three times, and MFP is still not reading my steps. MFP reads into my fitbit dashboard, but not vice versa. Any tips?
