It's nice to see new faces around @Jenbertram! What I recommend is to unlink and relink both accounts. This should allow you to sync your data without a problem. Please follow the steps listed below:

1. Sign into your Fitbit dashboard.
2. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
3. On the left side of your screen click "Applications."
4. Under MyFitnessPal, click "Revoke Access."
5. You can then re-link the two accounts by going to MFP.

After relinking, you can verify that your accounts are syncing by using one of the following data points:

1. On Fitbit you can check for your meal summary and logged activities from MFP.
2. On MyFitnessPal, go to "My Home," then "Check-In." You should see your weight, Fitbit Steps, and Fitbit Sleep Minutes.

Let me know if this helped you out. Smiley Happy

My new Blaze is wonderful. However it is not syncing with My Fitness Pal food database.  Maybe an update is necessary.  Does anyone else have this problem?

Best Answer

Syncing with MFP is nothing t do with he Blaze but is handled by the Fitbit website in the background so any problem in this area is pretty much guaranteed to be nothing to do with your specific device.

I tried this process on my iphone 6 and it did not solve the problem. It was working fine until 2 days ago. My calories crossover to the fitbit app but my steps dont sync to Myfitnesspal.

Hi there,

I tried the steps below and after multiple attmeps, I get the same message..."this account already has an account synced, you can only have one account at a time." that is coming form MFP. ...

Any idea on what to do to get this back on track?

Why isnt my fitbit syncing my exercise with mfp? It was working until today and now it only syncs my steps.

@sudersuder Exercises will only show up in MFP if it was logged through MFP. Here's how the integration works:

MyFitnessPal Fitbit
Activities
Food
  • Activities from MyFitnessPal are synced to Fitbit as manually logged activities (won't count towards leaderboards/challenges)
Fitbit MyFitnessPal
Steps
Weight

Hope this helps. 🙂

My Fitbit app is showing the calories from Myfitnesspal app but myfitnesspal app doesn't register my fitbit steps. It shows my daily goal on the right side but on the left side of that line it has 0 fitbit tracer steps. Do you hvae any advice on how to get it to show my steps?

Unfortunately it was the beginning of the end for my fitbit. I had to do a factory reset but it is always sluggish to sync after that. It was a problem with the tracker itself and not the apps. It gave up the ghost 2 months later. Fortunately it was still under warranty and they replaced it quickly.

This tracker is brand new:( it's still under warranty but I'd hate to have to get a new one I'm gonna give it until Monday to see if it will start to sync. Then, I guess I'll call fitbit. Wahhh

@Loangal Welcome to the Community! The best troubleshoot to do in this type of cases is to unlink and relink both accounts by doing the procedure posted above. Also, what kind of error are you getting? Can you provide me with a screenshot?

Hope this helps.

I tried this three times, and MFP is still not reading my steps.  MFP reads into my fitbit dashboard, but not vice versa.  Any tips?
