Data taking over 24 Hours to reach 3rd party App- is this normal

Hello, when I log workouts in my Fitbit, they come over to the Fitbit App straight away.  However they are sometimes taking over 24 hours to reach 3rd party apps I have connected the Fitbit App too.  Is this normal? I thought the App should refresh in the background at several points in a 24 hour period?

Hi Community

Can you advise if it is normal for user data to take over 24 hours to reach an integrated App from Fitbit? OUr App is integrated to Fitbit but the data takes over a day to come across.  The only way to get it to come across quickly is to force a close of our app and then a reopen.  Appreciate advice.
