Distance accuracy with Fitbit and MFP

Hi there,

I use a garmin watch, which then uploads to MFP and flows to here for my activity. When it does this, the distance that I ran is not listed in my activities and I cannot edit this. I don't think that my distance is being tracked properly. Does anyone know how this works for sure? Right now it's showing my distance for the week as 2.1 KM and I just ran 5 K. Woman Frustrated

@ntrun A warm welcome to the Community! MyFitnessPal will sync food and activities to Fitbit and those activities can't be edited once are in Fitbit. I was checking and in MFP you're not able to enter the distance just the time you were running. Since, you have your Fitbit you don't need to log activities that are step based in your Dashboard because your tracker was made for that.

I recommend to log activities that require more than just steps in your Dashboard because this will improve the accuracy of calories burned that you get.

Hope this helps Robot Happy

Fitbit intentionally removed the ability to edit activities over six months ago. Supposedly the functionality will be restored, but there's no ETA.
