Drivebit in car without internet available?

Is it possible to run the Drivebit (to turn off steps during a drive) app for Fitbit while in a car that lacks an internet connection?  Can the data be entered later, when an internet connection is available?

@BurtonPasternak Hey there! I'm not sure at all about how Drivebit app works. However, I found these posts that I think may be helpful to you; this one and this. 

Additionally, Fitbit isn't the owner of Drivebit so I can't give you further information but you can contact them directly.
