Error Message: when trying to sync Run Keeper App with FitBit

I'm trying to sync my Run Keeper App to my FitBit Alta and I'm following all of the recommended steps. When I get to the final step on the Fitbit App Authorization screen (on the Run Keepere website fro my desktop computer) ...it give two options on the bottom ~ deny or allow, I select allow and keep getting an error message that says: 

 

Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) Filter: CORS origin denied: https://www.fitbit.com

Any idea on why this is happening? What should I do? Thanks!

Thanks for stepping into the Fitbit Forums @Athena1981! I moved your post to the Third-Party Integrations board as it is better suited for it.

 

There could be several reasons why the connections is not going through. It could be that either of the servers are not working correctly, or one of them is taking too long. The best way to go about this would be to contact Run Keeper's customer support directly and have them verify what's going on.
