Exercise tracked using surge gps does not register on my fitness pal

When I track exercise using my Surge gps (hike or run) the calories I gain/burn does not sync with my fitness pal as it used to do when I was using my flex. For instance, today I have done 17,000 steps - this includes a walk/run of 3.5miles and a walk of 2.5 miles - and Myfitnesspal only adjusts this to 300 calories. When I look on my tracked exercises the calories burned is more like 800. Can I adjust this to sync to the right amount? Thanks

Thank you for being part of the Community @Jessiepb! This is really easy to fix, the only thing you need to do is unlink and relink your Fitbit and MPF accounts, rest assured that you won't lose your information.

Let me know how this works and good luck Smiley LOL

Have you contacted MFP yet, Fitbit allows them to rrad your data, Fitbit does not send it to them.

My Surge is not syncing any of my steps with my Fitness Pal.  Everything was working fine up until a week ago. Also I have been unable to manually sync to update My Fitness Pal. Can someone help me?

Hi @Jazzercise I've moved this thread to the third party app area, this is where people are that know more about mfp than i do.

Hi There,

Thanks for your email regarding my problem. So far I don't have any more
problems and hope it lasts. What I did was re-load my Surge and that solved
the problem. I really didn't want to remove My Fitness Pal or my Surge and
add them again. Hope everything keeps going. It make life easier.

Thanks for asking,

Jacqui/Jazzercise

Hey @Jazzercise! Thanks so much for your update, I'm glad to know that your information is syncing fine now between Fitbit and MFP. I'm pretty sure this won't happen again. When you un-link and re-link your accounts, any data is deleted. So rest assured that once you sync your details, you'll keep your information as it is.

See you around!
