Failing to link with MyFItnessPal

ANSWERED

I had my Fitbit connected with MyFitnessPal for a very long time but it stopped syncing. I read to disconnect and connect it again so I did that but when trying to connect it I get this error even tho I click 'allow all' on Fitbit permissions. I tried clicking each one of the permissions individually, tried on both my phone and computer but keeping getting the same error.

Finally tonight after nearly a week, it’s linked

However, I have had to remove a line from each meal/snack/drink for each day to link the calories to Fitbit - the exercise from Fitbit to MFP have not linked except for today

good luck 🤞🏼

🥳   It is up and running.  No work around needed.  Hope everyone is back up.  Note: I was a revoker so I just went in and set it back up. Good luck!

Neither is mine!

No luck here either. Starting to get ridiculous. At least once a year we go through this, and it magically starts working again.

I had to remove Google's "Health Connect" from my Fitbit app.  After I did that, I went back to the MyFitnessPal app aand I was able to connect Fitbit once again.  This is what worked for me.

Mine has worked today (after my exercise session 🙄) but it just connected this last time I tried it. Did not delete any apps or anything prior - I hope you guys get yours sorted soon! Very frustrating.

Mine is also working again after a week of trying!  Hooray ! I hope it lasts!

I’ve been trying to find where I can remove Health Connect but don’t seem to find it, can you point me to where this option is please so that I can try and repeat your actions for my own account? Thanks

I'm sorry I don't remember.  I tried so many ways to get rid of it.  I either selected my pic on the app and then selected "Your data in Fitbit" or "Fitbit settings"If not, then it may be to select the watch icon at top left and remove it there.  Sent from my Galaxy

Mine linked today, too! I did let Fitbit update first though, if that's helpful for those who still can't connect.

My issue now is not the fact that they aren’t connecting (they’ve been linked now for three days) but the Fitbit activity data still isn’t pulling through to MFP at all, not even registering as 0 steps in the Exercise section. So frustrating - it’s been over a week now that the correct data hasn’t been pulling through. Please can you give some sort of update to the situation.

That happened to me as well. Go to settings, then go to Steps and then selected Fitbit. Sent from my Galaxy
