I've been tracking food with My Fitness Pal (MFP) for over 2 years. I got a FitBit Flex about 6 weeks ago and synced them up and everything worked just fine until 3 days ago. I enter all my food in MFP and any non-walking exercise there too and it tells FitBit the info.
Now, if I enter a meal (in MFP) and a little later I update it with additional items, it is coming over to FitBit as two separate meals! For example, tonight my FitBit was showing I had a dinner of 519 calories from MFP and one of 563 calories from MFP! It did this yesterday and the day before too (Yesterday it thought I had had THREE dinners.) I can use the FitBit website or the FitBit app and delete any "extra" meals but I shouldn't have to do that - why did this suddenly start happening?
I don't know if this is a FitBit bug or an MFP bug.

@gmw4259 It sounds strange for me, I haven't heard about this issue so far. I'd like to thank you for bringing this to our attention so we all can be on the same page. I just responded to one of your other posts here. Please see my response and be on the lookout for any updates. Thanks for your patience.

I've been having this same exact problem in the past couple of weeks - it seems to sync a partial meal and then an additional full meal. So I will have 2 meals listed and need to manually delete the extras. It used to happen to me every now and then but now it happens almost daily. I've been using fitbit/my fitness pal for 2-3 years now. The only difference for me lately is that I got a new phone and I can now bluetooth sync to my phone, which I couldn't do before. Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome @LynneAH! I'm so sorry for the troubles this may cause. If you're using the website Dashboard, please do follow the steps below to get rid of the duplicate meal:
1. Log in to your dashboard.
2. On the top tool bar, click "Log" to the right of "Dashboard."
3. Scroll down the page to "Logged Foods" and locate the entry that you'd like to delete.
4. Hover your mouse over the entry until an "X" appears to the right of the food item.
5. Click the "X." Your entry will now be deleted.
Hope this works perfectly! Let me know any questions

I'm having the same issue. Every time I go to erase the extra entry it adds another. I have so many entries on yesterday it isn't funny. I like to see the proper numbers and this is very discouraging. Please help asap! This is extrememly frustrating and unmotivating; not why I bought the fitbit.
BTW, I've been doing it on my ipad app. Nothing is coming up on the computer app at all for me to try to fix this problem. I get to the screen that shows the basics, but can't go anywhere from there.
