Welcome to the Fitbit Community @missiedriver! It seems that you have done the right thing in order to fix the current issue between Fitbit and MFP. If all of your Fitbit settings are correct, I believe that this issue is being triggered by MFP. Have you contacted their customer support team?
The reason I ask is because other users experiencing the same have contact MFP and apparently this has helped solve the issue.
