FitBit to Stava or Strava to FitBit? Bike Cadence or Heart Rate

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Looking for a solution that can track everything into one app.

Biking on Trainer indoors with a Wahoo computer with Speed, Cadence, distance exports to Strave, but no Heart Rate. Can Fitbit share HR with Strava?

Visa versa

Can Fitbit accept Cadence, speed and distance from Strava or Wahoo?

- Fitbit does not import data from other apps.
- A Bike activity tracked by your Fitbit band / watch "manually" (meaning that you will start tracking it and after you complete the activity, you will end it yourself) will also track your HR and will send it to Strava if you have the Fitbit to Strava sync enabled. This will happen ONLY if you have an Ionic (which has an embedded GPS chip) or if you have a Fitbit (non-GPS) band while carrying you mobile somewhere near, so that your band will connect to the GPS chip of your phone. Notice that auto tracked bike rides do NOT connect to the GPS of your phone, and Fitbit activities without GPS info, do NOT upload to Strava.
- Doesn't cadence need some sort of connected (to the bike) sensors to be precisely calculated? Not sure about this. In any case, Strava does not seem to report cadence on Fitbit uploaded bike rides.

Anyway, here is an example of a bike activity uploaded to Strava (the free version - I have not tried Strava Summit  yet)
