Hi Everyone
I am new to Fitbit and got the Alta for my Bday. Had no problem at all setting it up and syncing it with My Fitness Pal. Everything is working smoothly, but...
Today is the first day I did a workout and the stats did not go to MFP, it still says 0 for exercise.. yet I notice it has alotted more calories in food. I think if I add the exercise manually in MFP it will give a false reading in the calories by adding more?
Anyone have a solution to this or can help me figure it out.
Much apprciated

Hi, @Deblyh! Unfortunately, MFP and Fitbit's connection has not changed with the times. Fitbit sends weight and steps to MFP, MFP sends exercise and food to Fitbit (maybe weight, too, not sure). Unfortunately, Fitbit will not send activities to MFP. So, if you're using smart tracking or otherwise tracking exercise in Fitbit, that's where it stays. If you were to add it to MFP, it would send it over to Fitbit. I don't really know what happens when you have overlapping activity. It might double count or it might choose one.

I am Indian and do Yoga and Pranayam daily, but unfortunately that does not count as active minutes. You have to add these type of exercise as active minutes.
