Fitbit App coming to Wear OS

At the launch of Google Wear OS 3 and the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 yesterday, they announced that the Fitbit app will be coming to the ecosystem.

 

Is there an update on when this is coming as Wear OS health side was designed with Fitbit assitance.

 

With Fitbit lacking, Google Pay, Wireless Charging etc, the chance to move to your a proper android smartwatch but remain part of the Fitbit world (including the extensive back history) is the perfect scenario for majority of people.

Hi @SunsetRunner,

 

I have no idea, as Fitbit usually doesn't give updates like this.  At this point, it's anyone's guess.
