Fitbit Blaze + MyFitnessPal - Can it be done?

Fact: Fitbit Blaze auto recognizes exercise and logs it in Fitbit.

Fact: MyfitnessPal instructions state to only log activity in MFP, NOT Fitbit.

 

Obviously, this causes issues. Is there any way of linking the two applications without running into conflicts?

Hi, @SunsetRunner! Unfortunately, the way the two apps work right now, there's no way around it. I wish they would put in a toggle switch or something to let you tell the programs which way you want to send exercise. You're not missing anything. Your options are to log exercise separately in each program, which means you'll need to delete a duplicate from Fitbit or rely solely on Fitbit for accuracy while still inputting your food on the mfp side.
