Hello,
I just recieved my Fitbit Charge 2 today (Jan 18) and I love it so far! The only real question I have about it is in regards to using it with a calorie/diet tracker app such as MyFitnessPal. I've been using MFP for a week now, before recieving the Fitbit, and it always told me how much I could eat, have eaten, and after inputting my exercises and having it estimate a calorie burn, it told me how much I had left over. For example, if I have a 2000 calorie daily goal, and ate a 500 calorie breakfast, but lost 250 calories on the stationary bike, I would be able to eat 1750 (as opposed to 1500 without exercise) -- but on the Fitbit app that isn't syncing. Instead, it's saying what I've eaten so far, and what I have left to eat, without calculating what I've burned which was synced to the Fitbit manually before and after my workout.
What can I do to have accurate information regarding calories conveyed from MFB to the Fitbit app? And, should I be inputting the workout into my Fitbit via the Weights option, or should I just do it through time and exercise type on MFP like before? Thank you!

From what i read, most let Fitbit determine the calories and put the food into MFP..
As for lofging zn event as weights or whatever tge best chouce is to use the manual event mode on the tracker, or let the tracker auto detect. With weights it probably will show as workout.
As for what syncs between the two accounts see this post..
