Fitbit Charge not syncing with my healthvault account

I recently purchased the Charge device (wednesday) and setup my connection to healthvault account yesterday (I know this is setup correctly since when I go into my healthvault account, I see my fitbit device with the appropriate access rights being available). However, the data from fitbit is not available on the healthvault account.

 

How long does this take to sync? Can I perform a manual sync to make this happen? I have my complete health record on healthvault using a variety of third-party apps and healthvault itself and since my heallthvault account gives a complete health profile, this is important to me to see it all in one location.

@jaygovind It's super easy to link Fitbit with Health Vault, please go to your Dashboard > settings > Sharing > HealthVault > Link to your HealthVault record.

@jaygovind Thank you for the details! I would like you to make sure that your tracker is syncing to your account because that may be the reason why you're not seeing any measurements in Fitbit > HealthVault account.

 

Let me know how it goes after syncing Smiley Happy.

 Thanks for all the help. It is working now. Perhaps it just takes some time. All data has been synced as of 2 days ago. Will keep you posted. I must say I am very impressed with the level of customer service that I am getting here at Fitbit. Everyone is so helpful in trying to solve these problems. 

 

I am very happy to have a complete picture of my health now for my provider visit coming up in the near future. I also wanted to add that the data is now appearing under record history under Fitbit (third party apps) and also under Exercise (under measurements) (similar to what my old pedometer used to do).

I went into Fitbit third-party, healthvault and clicked on link and it uploaded the data to healthvault. It appears that it probably takes a few days for this link to appear (which is fine) and allows one ot manually link the data periodically. I am happy (I wanted to make sure I am not taking about unlinking and linking the app here which of course I tried several times which did not help in the data import).

I wanted to let everyone know the syncing with Healthvault is working fine. Daily, I am going to Fitbit Settings, Sharing and Healthvault and clicking link (Healthvault is already linked to fitbit) and the data gets updated daily.

I am not receiving any responses on this topic. I must say I am a little disappointed. I was looking forward to a complete picture of all my measurements in one place including blood sugar, lab results and of course my daily activity. I am very happy with Fitbit (Charge) so far (it has been less than a week) but I am a little bit unhappy with the fact my fitbit data is not appearing on my healthvault account so I can obtain a complete picture of total health (been 3-4 days now). This type of complete health profile is very useful when I visit by healthcare provider so that she can obtain a complete picture of my health.

@jaygovind Welcome to the Community! On HealthVault you will see a daily log of data from Fitbit, Fitbit syncs data to HealthVault once a day, you can share and export your health data. You can see what data syncs to HealthVault, go to settings > sharing. 

 

Also, you can't do a manual sync to link data. I would recommend unlink and relink both accounts to see if it starts working.

Thanks for all your help. I am able to see the fitbit data in my healthvault account. I still need to be able to see the data under Measurements/Exercises since currently the data in available only under third party apps & devices (under Fitbit). Normally, when I import a third-party CCD/CCR file, it allows me to add the data to specific targets within the healthvault account. Any suggestions? (other than manually adding it).

I am curious to know when the data from fitbit gets synced to the healthvault account. I see the data from yesterday morning. I sync my data frequently. I have done it several times today but the data still does not appear on the healthvault account.

 

Sorry to keep this thread alive but I need to be able to sync the data immediately when the data gets synced to the dashboard. Appreciate all your help.

Hello, can somone help with this? My last sync to healthvault was on 11/19 and fitbit still has not synced the data (it is 11/22) to healthvault. I have performed several data syncs to the fitbit dashboard.

 

I am sorry I am bringing up this but this is extremely important to me to have all my health data in healthvault.

@jaygovind No worries! Community is here to help you. Fitbit will sync data once a day, I'm not sure at all at what time it sync your information. 

So, I would recommend to contact HealthVault to find more information.
