Fitbit Newbie & My Fitness Pal User

Hi

 

This morning I have used by Cross Trainer and noticed that the calories it says I burnt was a lot less than those My Fitness Pal predicts.  I logged the time of the exercise so that Fitbit "knows".  My questions is this: Does Fitbit alter the calories to what it thinks I have used or does it use MFP's prediction??  Thanks

@Dolly-Daydream Did you use your tracker and manually logged the activity? MyFitnessPal and manual activities override your tracker's data to ensure that your steps won't be counted twice.
