Fitbit activities not transferring over to MyFitnessPal

I’ve had an Alta Fitbit for a long time but have only these past couple of weeks started using the MyFitnessPal app. I have my Fitbit synced so the steps go across and record the calories onto MFP which is fine.

However, when I spend 30 mins on the elliptical it counts these as steps and exercise, but the exercise doesn’t move across to MFP? How do I record all of this without duplicating calories etc.?

Hi there @bethlwh, welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I can help you out with this!

When it comes to the Fitbit and MyFitnessPal integration, the way it works will be the following: You will be able to see all your nutritional meal summaries, macronutrients and other MyFitnessPal data in your Fitbit account. You can also see calories burned as recorded by your Fitbit tracker in your MyFitnessPal account to get a more complete picture of your health.

This means that activities per se and/or steps will not transfer over to MyFitnessPal but only the calories you  burn.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need more help.

PS. I'm moving your post to the Thride Party Integrations board for categorization purposes.
