Fitbit app saying I am over quota for calories

Hi there.

I have myfitnesspal connected to fitbit on an iphone 6plus.

I notice in the fitbit dashboard it will have accounted for calories in via myfitnesspal and also has accounted for calories burned.

But if I drill into 'calories eaten' it then says 'over budget' 1339 cals in - 0 cals out.

In other words it has not applied the burnet calories to the calories in/out

How do I fix this?

Also I want to eat 1600 calories a day, in withings that was very straight forward. In fitbit, it keeps increasing my allowence over the day, I am currently at 3300, if I ate that amount I would get fatter not thinner. I understand this is a problem between myfitnesspal and fitbit, but basically I wanted to say, what a pain, if the dashboard is confusing people are not going to get it are they?

As it goes I know I need to eat 1600 calories a day, so I can at least work that out for myself.

Since the recent update, I am having the same problem.  It is saying zero calories out when I click on calories left, so it appears the I have all of my calories left for the day.

I have deleted and reinstalled the app and it didnt help.

Hi,

My wife and I are both having the same problem.  In the dashboard on my computer, it looks fine, but on the app (iOS version, using iPhone 5), the difference is very clearly not correct.  Both of us updated the app recently.

I emailed Fitbit support about this, and included screenshots.   They said:

"Customers have been reporting this issue when looking at this tile, using the iOS mobile app it shows discrepancies with the amounts measured for calorie intake and burn. We appreciate you taking the time to bring this to our attention. For us to take further actions and fix this we'll escalate this information to our engineering team to find a prompt solution."

Hopefully a fix will be out soon!!
