Since Moves has been stopped I had to buy fitbit charge 2 to record my bike ride for Vitality health. Rather than just an hour on the bike they now require an age related average heart rate for an hour. It started to do it automatically but now it wont. Please can you tell me how to make it record this?
Thank you

Hello @RuthMargaret!
The Fitbit should have continued to track your average HR during those activities. When exactly did it stop doing it? What is it showing now?
Also, are you saying that no average HR shows on other end or directly on Fitbit?
Look forward to your reply.

thank you. I would love to have an instruction book because I do not
understand this thing at all
I tap it to see my heart rate occasionally and after a few taps it usually
wakes up and tells me what it is at that moment but I thought just one up
move should persuade it to wake up?
for Vitality I have to record over an hour above their age related heart
rate & I can see on their screen that it gets it usually but it can take
days to upload
on the fitbit app on my iphone today shows 5347 steps but no mention of 1 .
28 hours bike ride this morning. Admitedly it was along a river so does
that mean it was not strenuous enough to register?
I have no idea how to set it for the vitality requirements I just hope it
gets there somehow????
If I can get instructions I would be grateful

Hello @RuthMargaret.
Let me help you out get a better picture of what is going on.
Regarding a manual, you can access it online. Click here to see the user manual for the Fitbit Charge 2. I'm sure that after going through it you should get a much better idea of what is going on and how it works.
Regarding Vitality, I wouldn't really be able to offer much assistance as that is a third-party app and the connection between it and Fitbit was developed by them directly.
On to the other questions, regarding the tapping. Sometimes it can be a tad hard to wake it up. My suggestion would be to try and tap firmly on the section where the wristband and the device's screen meet. That should be the most sensitive spot.
Regarding the bike ride. It truly depends. If the ride was not intense enough for the Fitbit to recognize on its own, then it is very possible that it was not logged at all. Additionally, you can manually select a Biking activity to track on your Fitbit so that it begins tracking it without having to worry about automatic detection.
I'd recommend that you try and contact your insurance provider, or Vitality themselves, to help you out in connecting the apps.
Let me know if you have any further questions or if there is anything I can help you with.
