Fitbit charge won't link to MyFitnessPal

Hello all,

I have went into the fitbit app to link my new fitbit charge to myfitness pal but on my phone there isnt anything that says to link an app. I have tried going into myfitness pal app to the apps and devices option under "more" bbutton, clicking on the fitbit link and clicking "connect" but this only opens to the fitbit sales page. I have tried this on my apple phone and by signing into both accounts online and the same thing happens over and over. Neither show either has been linked or been attempted to be linked. Help! I am lost.

Been having the same issue.  I noticed it redirects to a shareasale.com url before it goes to the fitbit sales page.

I tried connecting through the android version of the app and on pc as well wwith same result.

Also having the same issues. The Fitbit also doesn't show up in Apple Settings -> Privacy -> Motion & Fitness.

I am having the same issue when I try to connect with my Iphone, but  was able to finally connect via fitbit.com. If you go to settings, then applications you can give MFP access to sync with fitbit. Hope this helps.

How do you add mfp to the applications on Fitbit?

Could someone from FitBit answer this thread?

It seems to me that FitBit doesn't support all the features (some of the best features) of the Apple IOS devices. I'm getting data in my FitBit app when I log an exercise in MyFitnessPal, but not the other way. I don't get information in MyFitnessPal from FitBit.

Is FitBit working on application integration or does it plan on standing alone?

This question would hing my desision on any future product purchases.

Mine isn't working either. It's saying in the Fitbit app that I've walked 2000+ steps and then in MFP it's saying that I haven't walked anything or it says I've walked 172 based on my phones movement.

@SunsetRunner @Ashley23117 I believe my post over here should  be able to answer both of your questions.

Thanks @AndrewFitbit i do now see the step count, though my expectations doesn't end there. The FitBit gathers a lot of information, but it seems that FitBit doesn't wish to share that information. It seems/wants to be a single repository of my activity information and i'd have to say i don't agree with that thought.

I think the people of this thread want it to be more than that, I know I do.

I find the FitBit product to be acturate device and like it, but the lack of software integraton is a down fall. I have a lot of information in other applcations that I can't see as well as i'd like.

Cheers

When I try to connect my phone to MFP it says error. I went to steps then add device and then an error internal server notification pops up. SOS. Literally the only reason I got the Fitbit was for a more accurate count of steps to help with MFP

Hello there @leaaaaahgrote, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! My apologies for the late response and I'm wondering how it goes? Is the issue still persisting at the moment to connect your accounts? In case it does, I'm wondering if you are using the mobile app or you are trying to connect your account using the website?

If this is happening through the mobile app I recommend to use the website. In addition try the steps suggested from this post.

Let me know these details in case the issue persists.
