Of course your ionic will not, or never has synced with MFP. MFP should sync with your Fitbit account. it has been reported to be fixed.
I'm also moving your none ionic question to the third party board. Let us know if it is working. If it is still not working then reach out to MFP

MFP is acting up for couple of days. Syncing is one thing but showing random entries ( today I found out that in yesterday log there is an entry of some coconut milk I never used, tried to remove it and another one appeared - this kind of acting up 😉 ) in the log shows that something is actually wrong. I would direct my attention to MFP rather than Fitbit in that case.

Starting last Monday there has been a problem with the connection between Fitbit and Strava. This connection had nothing to do with your ionic.
