Fitbit flex and myfitnesspal calorie targets

Can someone please help me?
I set up my fitbit flex on my iPhone first and set my calorie targets. Then I realized I could link myfitnesspal and use their calorie counter instead, so I did that and set up my calorie target on that. Everything syncs fine, except my calorie targets. I am using my target determined by myfitnesspal and most days fitbit dashboard says I am over my calories even though I'm not, just because they both have different targets! Annoying!
I can't find a way to make them the same or let myfitnesspal override fitbit - does anyone know a way?
Thank you heaps 🙂

Thanks for your contribution to the Community @s5ara. I realize this response is a long time coming, but did want to take the time to address your post.

It's great to hear that you linked both accounts in order to have a better track of your goals. I wanted to ask, did you set up the same calorie goal on both accounts?
