Fitbit gives twice amount exercise calories burned on loseit

I have my fitbit flex synced with the loseit site. Been on maintenance for a year so I know my loseit umbers are good. I walk 3 mi per day and get a loseit credit of 175 cal. At the end of the day fitbit gives me approx 400 exercise credits. Any one know why the difference and how I can fix it?

@morningjava You need to check all your personal data and see if it's the same on Fitbit and LoseIt. Perhaps this post can help and this one too. - I'm sorry for the late response and happy stepping!
