Fitbit is sending activity to Weight Watchers twice

My Fitbit HR is synced with my Weight Watchers account. I have had no trouble until lately and WW tells me it is a Fitbit Smart Track issue. Example: Yesterday I walked 15,319 steps which gave me 15 WW points and that is what it should be. I did not walk all 15,319 steps at one time. I walked them at two different times for a total of 15, 319 for the day. Fitbit divided those steps according to the two times I walked them. It tracked that I walked once 40 minutes and once for 44 minutes which is what I did. But by Fitbit HR logging it that way, I received points for the total steps and for each of the amounts of times I walked. This doubled the points I should have earned. WW suggested I turn off the Smart Track function.

What does Fitbit suggest I do?

Hi @RosieAnn is great to see you around! Smiley Happy Lets try to find a solution, could share with me a screenshot? and in the meantime try to Revoke the access from Weight Watchers and try to relink the application by following the steps here on this article "Fitbit and Weight Watchers".

Keep me posted, I'll be aware! Smiley Wink

I have had this happening also since May 31st, Fitbit tracks all activities and converts them into steps. This is the only information that needs to be transmitted into WW. But since May 31st, all steps accrued are syncing and then any automated activity that is being picked up and any manual activities set.

I have contacted WW by phone and described my problem and followed up with many mails and the last response ws just telling me to turn off 'AUTO RECOGNISED EXERCISES’, which doesn't solve the problem and stops ongoing Fitbit challenges in our Fitbit community. This isn't just happening on my account, this also started happening for my wife on the same day. The only solution at present is to manually input your steps at the end of each day, which is such a shame.

I've surrendered my account to WW, and in the many communication they have told me they know about the problem, have blamed Fitbit and told me to speak directly to them, told me to delete activities out of Fitbit and also as above just wanted me to switch parts of Fitbit off.

So any information that anyone can help with, I would be grateful.
