Fitbit <=> Endomondo interface/ link functionality

Hello

Are the functionality in the different interfaces/ links described someplace? Asking because I struggle to understand the logic in the Endomondo interface...

Here is how I experience the Endomondo interface pr now:

- Steps are automatically "exported" to Endomondo - seems like it is transferred periodically during the day

- Activities are "imported" form Endomondo to Fitbit - but not the other way around....!!

I don't understand why my Fitbit activities are not exported to Endomondo. If I am to keep my Endomondo log ajour (manually) I than end up with double activities in Fitbit because the same activity are first logged than imported from Endomondo. This leaves me with ie double stepcount (if I use my Surge and my android phone for logging in parallell during workout), double calorie burn......

Is this the way it is supposed to work...?

@jorang I moved your post to the Third-party integrations forum, where you are likely to get a better answer.

But in reality you need to ask Endomondo, as Fitbit doesn't create or maintain the interfaces. Fitbit just makes the data available for third parties to access. (So it is up to Endomondo to decide what they pull from/push to Fitbit.)

@jorang Here is the FAQ on the Endomondo site about their integration.

Thanks Michael. Sure will read up on their FAQ pages to understand the integration "logic" 🙂
