Fitbit mysteriously syncing apple HealthKit

My Fitbit account is somehow updating my weight. The only apps I have that it could come from are apple health and Withings but neither of these are compatible apps as per Fitbit. So how is this happening? If you can sync with these apps why not just fully implement all data. It's really annoying that apple health doesn't sync and makes me want to return my new charge 2 😞

Without being by you it would be hard to say, it however has nothing to do with your tracker..

This is at richly either a weight that was manually entered or was sent from one server to fitbit through the internet

First thing to do is go to your app permissions and see what 3rd parties have access to your account.

BTW Withings Scale does sync to Fitbit. https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1286

Or you can use ifttt.com

Thanks for the info.

I knew it wasn't the tracker I thought it was the app syncing with other apps somehow. Looks like my scale is connected but I never did it...

I also don't understand why they will connect the scale but not the rest of the app data. That would fix my problem with connecting to apple health. My guess is that is why. Which is annoying because they are clearly suppressing a very usable feature on purpose. I don't want to just use apple health but I do want my data that's in there to get into the Fitbit app and vice versa.

Grrrrrrr
