Fitbit not sending Humana Go365 calorie, heart rate, or weight data

Greetings,

I just recently purchased a Fitbit Charge 2. I really like it's design and features. I purchased it primarily to get points from Humana's Go365 program. This is a free wellness incentive program offered by my health insurance. I get points for physical activity. I can then use those points to get gift cards. So I synced my Fitbit to Go365. Go365 gives you points for whatever category you score the most in, for that day. I noticed that Go365 was only giving me points for steps and sleeping. But no points for heart rate, calories, or weight.

This is a problem, because with the way Go365 is structured, I'll be missing out on a lot of points. To give you an example, I worked out yesterday. I walked a little over 7000 steps. I get 1 point for every 1000 steps. I also burned over 700 calories. I could get 5 points for every 100 calories burned, while my burn rate is over 200 calories per hour. Since Go365 is only seeing steps, I got 7 points from my workout. But if Go365 could see my calories, I would have gotten 35 points instead. Over the course of a year, this will add up to a lot of points.

So I contacted Humana to complain about them not giving me credit for my calories, heart rate, nor weight. They informed me that the reason I'm not getting points for any of those categories, is that Fitbit doesn't share them with Go365. She told me that Fitbit only shares steps and sleep data with Go365.

This was very disappointing news. I did some research and discovered that Garmin's fitness tracking devices share steps, heart rate, calories, and sleep data with Go365. I like my Fitbit Charge 2 and really don't want to return it and switch to a different brand. But I'm still within my return window and I am thinking about doing so.

Are there any plans in the near future for Fitbit to be able to send compatible data to Go365 for heart rate, calories, and weight? I've seen this question asked several times in the forums over the last couple of months, without being answered.

I have had Go365 a year now and it has honestly been a pain to use a 3rd app to track my calories burned. I have had a fitbit for the past 4 years and have been getting each of the charge updates. But instead of getting the Charge 3, I am currently looking to get Garmin Vivosmart or Vivosport. Not only does Go365 accept both heart rate and calories from Garmin, it also is swim proof!

Good luck with your choice!

I am also on Go365.  I would like the heart rate and calories added to the data sent to Go365.  If its a privacy issue, I'll sign a waiver.

I would also like to request that heart rate be sent to Humana Go365. One of their supports folks said the data that they receive from FitBit with regards to heart rate is unusable and that's why they don't include it. Whether unusable or that you aren't currently sending the data, I'd like to see this get corrected or at least have someone give an explanation. My coworkers that are wearing Garmin equipment are getting an extra 450 points per week which really adds up. I literally am getting short changed (because the points convert into $) by wearing a Fitbit to track my daily health habits. I'm not going to abandon you guys, but I'd really like to see you work with them so we can get the same compensation for doing what we're doing. Being healthy!

Let me know if there is anything we can do to get this moving forward.

I'm in the same situation. If this issue is not addressed, I will most definitely be moving away from Fitbit and over to another brand that has greater compatibility.

I honestly think it's Go365.
