Fitbit not sending calories to MyFitnessPal

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Just today it seems that fitbit last sent calories burned total at 1:15 am but not since then. Food I log in MFP does sync into fitbit.

Today is the first day the calories sync didn't happen. I disconnected Fitbit in MFP and reconnected but that did not fix it. Suggestions? Anyone else notice this?

Same here, also no luck unlinking and re-linking. Some things (like weight) are showing up fine. But my last calories burned info made it to MFP at 12:13 am. Glad it's not just me.

My steps in MFP for today are what was in Fitbit for yesterday so that's not updating either.

Similar problems. Cals 0, steps way off

I did report the issue to MFP support and sent them screen shots they asked for last night from my Fitbit app so they could see the discrepancy.
I'm not sure if MFP or Fitbit is responsible for fixing since it is the Fitbit data that is not getting to MFP. Data from MFP to Fitbit like calories eaten and my weight update sync fine.

Same for me.  I reported to MFP today. No response.

I just received a reply from MFP saying they spoke to Fitbit who confirmed the issue is on Fitbit's end. Fitbit is working on solving the situation 🤞

I don't understand why it works fine one day and then not the next. I even had it work two days in a row this week then not yesterday again

Hi everyone, and thanks for keeping me posted.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience this has caused and I appreciate your efforts while working on this. Because it's been a few days, could you confirm if the issue persists? And if so, may I know if the calories are syncing correctly from your device to the Fitbit app?

Please make sure the Fitbit app is updated as this will ensure that your stats are synced correctly and transferred to other apps such as MyFitnessPal.

I just switched from Yazio to MFP. In Yazio I had no problems with syncing and have now disconnected it.

My Charge 6 won't sync to MFP no matter how many times I disconnect and reconnect. It just keeps saying connect, and when I check, it says it's connected.

This stopped working Nov 9, then started working again a few weeks later.  Now, the 27th, it is showing my steps from YESTERDAY, and 0 exercise calories in MFP.   So it is broken again. PLEASE FIX THIS.  The WHOLE POINT for ME, of wearing the Fitbit is to have it track my exercise calories in MFP. If it doesn't do that, it is useless to me.

It is still happening. (Dec 28, 2024)

I got a Pixel Watch 3.   I've connected it to Health Connect.  I've connected MFP to Health Connect.

I did a "walk" activity with the PW.  It sync'd to MFP as steps.

I entered food into the MFP diary and saved it for the day.  Nothing goes through to Fitbit 'Nutrition,' it shows '0' calories.

Health Connect shows it is getting data from both Fitbit and MFP.    Fitbit is not getting the MFP calories.
