Fitbit not showing all calories eaten

Yesterday, the calories eaten that I entered into Myfitnesspal app weren't syncing properly over to Fitbit. Fitbit consistently showed less calores than I had eaten. It was showing that I ate nothing for meals that I had already eaten and record in Myfitnesspal. By night time it was showing 600 calories less than I actually had eaten for the day. I figured maybe the sync was just lagging, so I waited until this morning. Fitbit had still not caught up. Sometimes when I delete all the meals, and resync, the calories catch up. So I forced quit both apps and restarted my iPhone. It still wasn't right. I logged out and back into the app. But that didn't help. It shows I ate nothing for yesterday. I can't figure how to go in and quick add the calories like you can in Myfitnesspal.

Have I lost this data for good? Will it eventually come back? Is this a glitch?

I suprised no one has replied to my questions, not even Fitbit. I figured out on my own how to add back the calories that I lost that day.
