Fitbit not syncing with LoseIt! after the update

nice going Fitbit team. your latest Android update now no longer syncs properly with Lose It. Yes, I've restarted my phone, Uninstaller a d reinstalled everything. I've had it! If I either don't see a resolution within the hour, or get the apk of the previous version, I'm uninstalling this pain in the backside, and dumping Fitbit. I'm dead serious. I will not wait days for an answer. This is bull****. Either get your act together or go out of business. Updated a perfectly good app and destroyed its functionality.

The app has absolutely nothing to do with syncing with other apps. The fact that it stopped syncing with Lose It is just a coincidence. When you sync your tracker, your data is getting uploaded to the Fitbit servers. Fitbit provides an open API to 3rd party app developers to access that info and incorporate it into their own apps. If you are seeing your info on the dashboard, it is available to other apps. I would first try disconnecting and then reconnecting the accounts. If you are still having issues I would ask over at Lose It.

Had to log out of the Fitbit app, and log back in, twice, to get it to
work. The Fitbit app was not syncing with Fitbit's site, which is what the
third party app, Lose It, connects to in order to sync. Wasn't Lose It's
fault. It was the Fitbit app. So there.

And, incidentally, the Fitbit app was not logging calories burned, on the
Fitbit app itself, until a sync connection was re-established with Fitbit's
website. So, again, so there.

It *was* the Fitbit app's fault after all. In fact, it was *not*a
coincidence, because it was the app update that severed the connection with
Fitbit's website, rendering both the Fitbit app and the connection to the
Lose It app useless until the app was restarted by logging in and out.

Again, so there.

And it was Lose It's tech support that uncovered the problem. I had already
disconnected, reconnected and resynced the apps three times yesterday, and
twice today, before I heard form Lose It tech support and got the issue
resolved. By Lose It knowing more about the Fitbit app than apparently
anyone around here.

Again, so there (**ahem**, I hope that's annoying, because that's the kind of
mood this crap puts me into, including the post I'm answering). I have a
low tolerance, make that zero tolerance, for this nonsense.
