Fitbit not syncing with compatible apps

I have always synced with MyFitnessPal, and the FitStar apps, now none of the info transfers to my fitbit app (or the website). I just used FitStar yoga and it doesn't show on fitbit, and nothing from MyFitnessPal has for a while. Everything is up to date. I'm bummed because all of them together worked perfectly for me.It is how I lost 66 lbs so far. Any help appreciated.

I'm new to fitbit, not new to MyFitnessPal. I can't get MyFitnessPal to pick up the activity from fitbit. fitbit was picking up the calories entered into MFP though.

 

I tried to follow the directions for breaking the sync and then restarting it but I can't find in fitbit where I fire MFP.

 

I did find how to fire fitbit in MFP and that's where I left it. 

 

I think some of the fixes need to come with updated screen shots because they didn't look at all similar. For now I'll track my food in fitbit, however I'm missing the macronutrient break down and that makes me sad.

@MJ49 Welcome to the Community! @AutumnMoonfire Thanks for sharing your knowledge. If your Fitbit and MFP account isn't syncing at all, please follow this procedure from MFP to make sure your apps aren't linked anymore. You can double check these steps were successful by going to your Fitbit.com Dashboard > click on settings > applications > there you'll find the apps that are linked to Fitbit. 

 

If you want to unlink FitStar then go to your Dashboard > settings > applications > revoke access under FitStar. If after this your data is still not syncing then contact the third-party apps so they can further investigate it.

We got it to work finally, hopefully it will keep working as I think my husband might be pretty disgusted if we have to go through all of that again.

 

Last night when we were fighting with it it didn't seem as if it had worked but today MFP has been picking up fitbit activity just fine. So if you've done all the steps and it hasn't worked, lay it aside and see what happens in the morning. you might, maybe, be pleasently surprised.

 

Since you guys list each other as compatible apps dare I hope you beta test with each other before either of you release an update? 

 

Off to get on my treadmill!
