Fitbit steps not properly synching with Loseit

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Fitbit is not synching all my steps with LoseIt.  I've made sure I have a LoseIt step goal, and I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the Fitbit app within LoseIt, but it's not working.  I always have less steps in LoseIt.

@kunkesl - I’m moving your post to the Third Party Integration forum where other LoseIt users may be able to help. In the meantime, I found this page from LoseIt that offers troubleshooting tips.

Hello @kunkesl, welcome to the community forums! @SunsetRunner, it's great to see you around and thanks for your input!

I recommend that you unlink the Lose It App from your Fitbit account, for this, please follow the steps below:

On the Fitbit App:

  1. Tap the Today tab , and tap your profile picture.
  2. Scroll down and tap or click Manage Data > Manage 3rd Party Apps.
  3. Log in to your Fitbit account.
  4. Tap Revoke Access to disconnect an app from your Fitbit account.

Then, reconnect the App one more time with your Fitbit account. For more information, please check: How do I connect my Fitbit account with another app?

Hope this helps!

Thank you @WilsonFitbit.  I tried unlinking LoseIt through the Fitbit app, and it did not work.  I'm still missing steps - even after I do a force sync in LoseIt.

Any other ideas?

@kunkesl, thank you for trying the suggested troubleshooting steps!

At this time, we have tried the possible troubleshooting for this integration inconvenience. I suggest you to contact the developer of the app for further assistance.

To find the app developer's contact information, please visit the app store on your phone and see the app's description. You can also find the Support button from the link that @SunsetRunner shared above.

See you around.

I figured it out.  LoseIt was reading steps from my Health app, which is getting steps from my Apple Watch.  Through the Health app, I removed the ability for LoseIt to read any data from the app, and my Fitbit steps are now showing in LoseIt.

I had this problem as well and this same remedy worked for me.  I have to give a shout out to my 13 year old daughter for figuring this one out.
