I've been a fitbit user for over 13 years. I use an eliptical with my hands still every day so I take off my fitbit and manually enter the exercise when I get home using the fitbit app.
I have a new galaxy watch 6 I'm setting up today. I'm using Health Connect to pull the data from fitbit into the watch. What it seems to be doing is pulling in the manual exercise but not giving it any steps. So for 8.5 miles on the eliptical, the steps are on my daily fitbit app step count but none of this is transferring to Health Connect. It is pulling in data as I do see the exercise from fitbit pulled into Health Connect but there are no steps associated with it. In fact, for the 70 minutes on the eliptical (8.3 miles on the machine), it gave me 0.12 miles for that workout.
What I want to accomplish is to update exercises on the Fitbit app and have them (including their step count) push to Health Connect and then to my Galaxy watch.
Any ideas?
