Fitbit won't connect to MyFitnessPal cuz I log in with Facebook

Trying to connect these two tools, but I log into both with Facebook. When I go to enter my email - the same info I use to log in to Facebook - it rejects it, saying I need to enter a valid email address. Has anyone else experienced this?

Allow me to help you @Ddelonge! I would like you to make sure that you're logged into your account when you're trying to link both accounts. Please make sure that you're doing this procedure:

  1. Log into MyFitnessPal and click Apps.
  2. In the App Gallery, find Fitbit and click Connect.
  3. Click Allow to give MyFitnessPal access to your Fitbit data.
  4. Follow this instructions

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.

I'm having the same problem - my desktop login information for MyFitnessPal is either a Username and Password or Facebook Connect. I reset my MFP password to make sure I had it correct, and doublechecked the associated email address, but it's still telling me to enter a valid email and password...I am logged into both apps on my phone.

@alexisj_107 A warm welcome to the Community! That's pretty weird. I would like to get a screenshot of the error that you're getting so I can investigate it. If you're getting this message in MFP, I would contact them they may have more information about this.

Keep me posted.

Welcome to the Forums @AlexS84.

Are you referring to MyFitnessPal or Fitbit? If you are referring to MFP I'd recommend that you try getting in touch with them directly

If you are referring to Fitbit, please try to log in with the same email address and password from your Facebook account.

Let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with.

I am also having the same issue. It is via myfitnesspal, however they make it very difficult to get in contact with them. Do you have a link to a forum or a help message center I could use?

Welcome to the  Forums @jbg830.

The link I shared above is the only way I could share on how to get in touch with them.

There was an issue going on some days ago with MFP that should've been resolved. I'd recommend trying the steps that were shared above as they should help.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hello @SunsetRunner, welcome to the Forums.

Did you get a chance to try the steps that have been shared through this thread? If none of that works, getting in touch with MFP would be the best way to go about it.

Feel free to reach out with any further questions.
