It's been over a week and it won't sync, in guessing due to the issue MFP had. I revoked access in the Fitbit as instructed but MFP still shows connected and won't disconnect. Ive tried deleting both apps and reinstalling, logging out and back in, no joy. Please help!

That is true @Cic1979. why are you asking the Fitbit users? Why not go to MFP and read their latest update?
Fitbit is not responsible for them.

We can only pass on what MFP has posted on their blog the to which I posted above.
You also realize that the problem is completely something that went wrong on MFP and it is not anything that Fitbit can do anything about.
Then you realize that MFP has resolved the issue and advised people to not try and reconnect their MFP account to Fitbit. This is because their is 10 day backup of sync and link up requests for MFP to resolve.
Every time some tries to link up Fitbit, they add to this buffer. But the above was from last week.
Please read the update on MFP from yesterday. .

Maybe if you take the time to read you're own link you posted and i read they specifically say the issue was fixed on the 6th and the backlog is cleared and sound be working normally and they recommend disconnecting and rejoining.
