FitnessPal not meeting expectations

How frustrating. I've been through all the steps suggested several times and this is my experience in syncing with Fitbit; the apps seem to only sync when connected to a computer and not showing on a smartphone. Fitbit seems to update FitnessPal but not the other way about. Is this the case or am I still getting it wrong?

Hey Nigel,

 

I have the step data from Fitbit feeding into MFP w/out issue on my Android smart phone, and likewise calorie/water data feeding back into Fitbit. Have you got all your ducks in a row?
