fitbit flex and my fitness pal- ok am new to fit bit but have been using my fitness pal for long time- I linked them but I feel like I am not sure if I should log my cardio workout on my fitness pal like I use to? arent my steps counting that work out? what should I do- sounds like there is alot of confusion on this subject out there
any advice sounds good to me

Ok I can not tell if my question is going through- I am new to fitbit flex but have used my fitness pal app for months- I am not sure whether I should continue to log my cardio exercise like I use to with my fitness pal- it seems like it is be accounted for in my steps- I did a workout class today that included a treadmill so that would be in my steps but not sure??? any advice would be appreciated

I use MFP as well. I only use it for food and log everything else on the Fitbit site.

Me too. I find it more reliable and I have more control logging to fitbit directly. One plus to this is if for some reason MFP and Fitbit have sync delays my calorie burn is still totalled in one place. If you log exercise to MFP and it hadn't synced to Fitbit then your fitbit burn would not have included whatever you logged via MFP.

In addition to the above.....I feel like I'm "double dipping", if you will, because I'm logging exercises into the MFP, which syncs to my Fitbit and I also syced my jog from Endomondo which filters through MFP into my Fitbit app. So, my question is.....does that mean I got credit for all my Endomondo steps in addition to what the Fitbit calculated or do they work together? MPF is showing that I have 689 calories left and Fitbit its showing 821. I just feel like I'm giving myself too much credit back toward the calories. Hope that makes sense. Thanks!
