can someone telle me how to sync runkeeper to fitbit flex as I dont have the hourglass on my exisiting runkeeper app ?

Here is a list of the official partner app: apps  Runkeeper is not one of them. I suggest that you link Runkeeper to MFP on the MFP website and then connect MFP to Fitbit:
