Flex mfp exercise not reflected in flex food

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have inherited a fitbit flex and need help

I use fitness pal to log all my meals and exercise which arent steps (badminton/ zumba and pilates) fitbit food shows my meal calories in the food section but not the badminton/ zumba / pilates calories that I earn in fitness pal so when I look at the days projection when I've done non step exercise it says I'm over budget

Why is my fitness pal exercise not showing in the fitbit food section cos on those days I'm not over budget !😕

Hello @Smiffy3594, Its nice to see you visit the Fitbit Community for the first time. I wonder where are you not able to see your calories due to the exercise? Is in MyFitnessPal or your Fitbit? (Feel free to share a screenshot if you want)

The way MFP and Fitbit works together is as follow:

Fitbit > Steps > MFP
Fitbit > Calories > MFP
MFP > Logged food > Fitbit
MFP > Activities > Fitbit

So if you are logging your exercise on MFP, on your Fitbit account you should be able to see these activities on your Exercise history that will affect all your stats in general. If you have a food plan your calorie allowance should increased too.

Keep me posted how it goes. I'll be around if you need more help.

Hello @Smiffy3594, if you are seeing a fluctuation of calories between your Fitbit account make sure your tracker is syncing all your information. If some of your information is missing due to syncing issues the following post might be of your help.

Other possible reason of this, your food plan setting is set to "Personalized," which uses your past activity history to estimate your calorie burn for the day and increases or decreases that number if you're more or less active then usual throughout the day. Since your calorie budget is calculated based on your daily calorie burn, your calorie budget will fluctuate.

If this fluctuation is disconcerting or disruptive to you, we suggest visiting your food plan and selecting "Set my own calorie target" to establish a permanent daily calorie goal. You can do this from your online-Dashboard under your Food page and select the option to Edit plan.

This other post might provide you additional help: MyFitnessPal: How to correct calorie discrepancy from MFP to Fitbit.

See you around, hope this helps.
