Food Log Adding Food.

I have been having a problem with my calories eaten being quite a bit more than what I entered into My Fitness Pal. When I look at the info on my Fitbit app it is doubling up my meals. So il wind up with two breakfasts, two snacks, etc. Ine number is correct and one is a random number but it is all being added together resulting in more calories than I'm inputting. I've logged out and logged back in, I've deleted the app and re installed. I've turned my phone off and back on again. I delete the extra entries from Fitbit and they just show back up on the next sync. How do I fix this? Anyone else having this problem?

@Samirella Welcome to the Fitbit Community! You should only use on of the two apps to track the food. If you use both Fitbit and MFP pal, foods will double. I recommend using MFP and once you sync; the food data will be transferred to Fitbit without having to log it on the Fitbit app as well. If not, try to revoke the access from MFP and re link them once again.

Try that out and let me know if it works! Smiley Happy

I am only using MFP to log food and it still adds random calories. I have revoked the access from MFP and re linked and it still continues to add an extra of each meal with a random number not logged anywhere.

I have been having the same issue. And today is my first day using my Fitbit. I have been using MFP for a couple of years now. I followed the instructions to only log my food to MFP but I have 2 dinners and my breakfast is 100 calories less than what I actually ate. Can't figure this out. Please help me too!

Same here. I was using Fitbit to log food, but then after the update early in April the food log started having problems not logging food or double logging food. So I thought maybe if I use MFP instead, I could bypass the issue until Fitbit gets it resolved. Big mistake, it was a nightmare. Double-logging all the entries from MFP, and there was no way to delete the entries. I used it one day and then deleted it. Fitbit really needs to fix their food-logging issues NOW, it's an integral part of their product and it's very frustrating.

I've been having the same issue for weeks. The Fitbit people just keep saying to unlink and relink the two accounts, which I've done several times but to no avail. This is an ongoing issue that's happening for lots of people but I've yet to see any kind of acknowledgment of the bug by Fitbit. (Surprise, surprise? Not really.)

Same here - it's been going on for a couple of weeks. Even if you manually delete the extra dinners or lunches in fitbit app, they seem to get included in the weekly total so my calculations are way off. Any suggestions or a fix in the works ?

I'm having the same issue.  I received the Blaze as a gift and started using it Monday.  I've been using MFP for a couple of years.  I haven't logged any food via fitbit but it's randomly adding meals to my log that is not there.  This is very aggravating.
