Has anyone successfully connected a Fitbit account to Diasend ?
I am diabetic and am hoping that I can correlate my fitbit food data to my Blood Glucose measurements.
I can see in my diasend account a section that will give average carbs and exercise per day, correlating to an average Blood Glucose figure, but no values have appeared, even though I set up the access two days ago.
diasend do say the following :-
"It may take a couple of hours or until next daybreak before data may appear in your diasend® reports after you have established connection. Depending on activity tracker, your activity tracker's data is then automatically pushed to diasend® at least once a day when new data is available."
Is there a way that I can manually push the data from fitbit to diasend ?
I think that Fitbit's food database is really impressive and I hope to track my carb count and maintain a safe diet.
Thanks

@uncledoug It's nice to see you on the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.
I appreciate the details mentioned. There are tons of apps that use our Open API to integrate their service with ours. The best way to tell if an app is compatible with Fitbit is to go to the third-party site (or app) and poke around their settings to see if you can connect Fitbit. You can also browse their site for information or contact the app owner and ask if they integrate with Fitbit.
The most standard troubleshoot across all integrations is to unlink the connection from both sides (Fitbit and third-party side), then link the accounts again. In the rare case that it's a Fitbit side issue, more than just one particular app will be affected. It's usually best to contact the app owner if the integration seems broken.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Hi @floux,
In @SilviaFitbit's reply it was said "It's usually best to contact the app owner if the integration seems broken." I contacted Diasend Support, and got a reply saying it had been bumped up to the "technical team". Diasend Support then contacted me to say that it should be "up and running again", without any explanation at all as to what had happened or why. It then connected OK.
However, I then discovered that it only gave me activity figures, not carbs. I asked about this and was told that they didn't get carbs figures from FitBit. I was wanting to get my carb. intake displayed alongside my BG figures, as I was using the FitBit food database.
When you connect to FitBit using the oauth popup from the Diasend Connect app page, it actually asks about what data to share !
I moaned a bit, but got no help or assistance. Further research into FitBit's API indicates that they can get the data, which led me to believe that, at the Support level at least, Diasend don't know or can't be bothered to sort it out. It is therefore of no use to me for this and I had to find another way or relating by carbs intake to BG test results.
The activity connection was working a while ago as the mobile Diasend App has an activity indicator on the Scorecard screen, but it seems to have stopped again.
I have just tried to disconnect/reconnect, and i get this :-
Slim Application Error
A website error has occurred. Sorry for the temporary inconvenience.
I'm guessing you will have to contact Diasend Support to get it fixed.

Since Diasend is respond able for setting up, and maintaining their connection, it is best to contact Diasend with sync issues.
