When I linked them I had to go to MyFitnessPal and allow access to Fitbit...I couldn't do it from the FitBit app or webpage. Once I clicked on the option to link accounts it took me to a screen to sign into my Fitbit account and after that is was linked. I hope this helps you!!!

A warm welcome to the Community @Getnfit56 and @SnoopyBear912 thanks for stopping by.
I just want to let you know that I have moved your post from the Versa board to the Third-Party Integrations board, since I think that here you will be able to find more related topics about the apps that are compatible with Fitbit.
Regarding to your question, to link your two accounts, please go to www.fitbit.com/apps/myfitnesspal and click “Get Started”. You will then be prompted to either log in or sign up with your MyFitnessPal account.
Once connected you will be able to view the foods and activities that you log on your MyFitnessPal account on your Fitbit Dashboard. From the "Check In" section of your MyFitnessPal account, you will see the steps taken and sleep tracked by your Fitbit device.
You will also see a calorie adjustment from Fitbit. Whenever MyFitnessPal receives calorie burn data from your Fitbit Tracker, it compares that to the projected calorie burn for your account and adjusts your calorie goal accordingly.
If you need anything else, let me know.
