How do I get my Fitbit send full data of route to MMR?

Hi all, First time posting here.

 

I am a new owner of Fitbit Surge 😄 
My question which I have browsed the forum and seen a lot of posts similar but without a full answer to what I want to know.

How do I get my Fitbit send full data of route etc to MMR?

 

I see that steps have updated to MMR Record but the Run itself I manually inputted in MMR aftwerwords. I thought once I connect the 2 apps together it would do it automatically, It doesn't seem to have uploaded the route though.

I have synced fitbit with MMR in app and also on the dashboard on a desktop and the only route showing in MMR is the one I entered manually.

A few posts on here talk about updates now allowing heart rate etc to transfer. Is there something extra I need to do to transfer route and full details to MMR or is that option not available?

@IanMachin I'm not sure what data mapmyrun looks at from Fitbit. 

No Fitbit doesn't send any data to MMR, but let's MMR access the data, it is up to MMR to pull the data it wants from Fitbit.

Please read this help doc on how to setup MMR
