How do you opt- out of having Fitbit be able to sell your data to 3rd party data users ?

HI- Fitbit alleges that there is a way to opt out of having your personal data and information not be sold to 3rd parties by opting out on your privacy section of your account. I am having a bit of difficulty in locating this to be able to opt out despite them highlighting it when I was reading about how to access these changes.

I am in the State of California and have a right to opt out and also inquire about how my data is being used by Fitbit due the the CA Assembly Bill- AB375 that went into effect and into law on Jan 1 2020. 

Has anyone yet done the opt out successfully and would they be willing to share those steps in which to do this? thank you,

If you need further assistance regarding your rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer at data-protection-office@fitbit.com, and we will consider your request in accordance with applicable laws.
