I am eager to start using the food tools but note that there is no UK food dictionary - ideas please

I am very disappointed that there is no UK Dictionary - no mention of this when purchasing. Understand that there may be a synching with my fitness pal. Has anyone used this approach as I will not take the time to input food intake through custom options. Is there a target date for it becoming available?

I have just purchased the flex fitbit and also only see an american food database. As the same question was asked 6 months ago, is there now a UK food database I can use/sync to? It seems a bit rubbish if I have to manually enter all foods I eat.
