I have Fitbit connected to LoseIt! and MapMyFitness. Is it double counting?

I tracked my run in MapMyFitness, and the calories burnt shows up as "healthkit workout" in LoseIt. I also walked a lot, and when I reached the 10,000 step threshold, I got the FitBit calorie bonus. Is this double counting?

 

At first it seems like it is. But when I look at the detailed bargraph history that adds up to 3k calories in the FitBit app, that roughly coincides with what my BMR would be plus my activity from that day. So...I'm confused. Thoughts?
