Incorrect number of calories via MyFitmesPal

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
Starting yesterday the number of calories being imported from MyFitnessPal is way off. 2,600 is being imported as over 4,000. This combined with the latest glitch in the Aria is really messing with my head.

This is so also driving me mad. The fit bit has been adding extra meal entries/ calories now all week. Calorie intake 1500 and fit bit has me down as having had 3000 or more. I sync it from fitness pal and don't add directly to Fitbit app so ? Just a syncing problem.

I'm having the same problem. The fitbit app is recording seemingly random entries for various meals - up to 5-6 per meal - only one of which is correct.

I've been manually deleting all the incorrect entries but it would be great if this could be resolved. Seems to be a problem on the FitBit side and not MyFitnessPal which is performing as expected.

I am seeing a combination of the following: a] multiple entries, b] some totals by 'meal' and some individual item entries, and c] entries no longer align with the correct 'meal' [part of the day]

I agree with @SunsetRunner, I'm going to unlink my fitbit and MFP accounts and enter all food into MFP and at the end of the day, just manually input the total calories into fitbit. Still no status update on this issue at

I've been having the same problem since Tuesday. I deleted all of the extra entries, found I deleted one too many😕 And cannot synch it back.

I have only logged breakfast today, from MFP, but there are 4 different entriy summaries on Fitbit.

I have been having the same trouble for the past two days ever since updating to the most recent FitBit app version. I had been on the current version before that. I've tried everything to fix including deleting both apps, restarting phone, etc. I've just been deleting at the day and manually entering correct calorie number on FitBit but that's not helpful for monitoring the days progress. Fix this fast please!

I am having the same problem. The Fitbit app seems to be syncing every entry plus the total of all the entries and maybe the totals as they accumulate so I have to keep going in and deleting all of the extra calories. Anyone know when Fitbit might fix this?

Randomly adding calories and meals. Very annoying when you are actually trying to count calories and watch food intake.

I see most everyone, including me, has had this problem in the last 2-3 days. Anyone discovered a solution yet?

I have the fitbit Surge and my wife has the fitbit charge HR.  Very recently (past two days or so) my fitbit app has been way overestimating the number of calories I've been consuming. I have it synced with MyFitnessPal  and it was working fine until recently. It will duplicate meals and tell me I ate 5 breakfasts, 3 snacks, etc... My wife has the same issue so I know it's not an isolated issue.  At the end of the day it estimates I ate over 7,000 calories when in reality MyFitnessPal says around 2,200.

I have removed and re-installed the app.  Is anybody else having this issue?

The only way I have to fix the issue is to manually delete meals in the fitbit app.
