I am seeing a combination of the following: a] multiple entries, b] some totals by 'meal' and some individual item entries, and c] entries no longer align with the correct 'meal' [part of the day]

I agree with @SunsetRunner, I'm going to unlink my fitbit and MFP accounts and enter all food into MFP and at the end of the day, just manually input the total calories into fitbit. Still no status update on this issue at

I see most everyone, including me, has had this problem in the last 2-3 days. Anyone discovered a solution yet?

I have the fitbit Surge and my wife has the fitbit charge HR. Very recently (past two days or so) my fitbit app has been way overestimating the number of calories I've been consuming. I have it synced with MyFitnessPal and it was working fine until recently. It will duplicate meals and tell me I ate 5 breakfasts, 3 snacks, etc... My wife has the same issue so I know it's not an isolated issue. At the end of the day it estimates I ate over 7,000 calories when in reality MyFitnessPal says around 2,200.
I have removed and re-installed the app. Is anybody else having this issue?

The only way I have to fix the issue is to manually delete meals in the fitbit app.
